This polymer-fortified tile grout is based on lime-free binder technology, helping to achieve a more stable finished colour shade while reducing the risk of efflorescence and shade variation. It is designed for use with wall and floor tile joints up to 20mm wide, making it suitable for a wide range of tile formats, including large format tiles, bathroom tiles, kitchen tiles, floor tiles and feature walls.

The grout is easy to mix and apply using a sponge or rubber squeegee. Once cured, Palace Colour-Lock Platinum Grout dries to a hard, durable, shrink-resistant, mould-resistant and water-repellent finish. This makes it especially suitable for sanitary areas such as bathrooms, showers, kitchens, toilets, wet rooms and utility rooms, where resistance to moisture and fungal growth is important.

Colour-Lock Grout is also recommended for more demanding installations, including areas over suitable plywood and heated sub-floors where minor vibration or movement can be expected. Application Guidance

Mix the grout according to the manufacturer’s instructions until a smooth, workable consistency is achieved. Apply across the tiled surface using a sponge or rubber squeegee, ensuring the grout is fully compacted into the joints.

Remove excess grout from the tile surface before it fully sets and clean carefully to avoid disturbing the joints. Always check tile suitability before application, especially with textured, polished, porous, natural stone or decorative surfaces. For best results, ensure the tile adhesive has fully cured before grouting.
