TILE RITE LEVELLING SPACER SYSTEM A unique 2 piece installation system designed for fitting large format Porcelain, Marble & Stone tiles requiring tight 1mm grout joints and no lippage. NOTE: Not designed to solve uneven floor problems, uneven surfaces must be levelled prior to laying tiles. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 1. Apply tile adhesive according to manufacturer’ instructions. It is recommended that a thick bed of adhesive is applied using a 12mm or tiger notch trowel. Back buttering the tiles will also ensure good adhesion. Slide two levelling spacers approximately 50mm (2 inches) from each end of the tile. Note: can be used in conjunction with normal tile spacers if a wider grout line is required (up to 6mm). Place the next tile. 2. Slide a reusable wedge into each clip. Tighten until the tiles are snug against the bottom of the wedge. Use the special pliers to easily drive wedges into levelling spacers. Adjust the tile so that the sides are aligned and the tiles are pushed tightly against the levelling spacer. 3. Let adhesive dry as required by manufacturers instructions. To remove the wedges kick the side of the levelling spacer to snap them off and keep the wedges for future use. Can also be used for levelling wall tiles - Use a non marking rubber mallet to snap the spacers.
