6mm M14 Gold-Brazed Dry Diamond Drill Bit (MDG102)

Engineered for hard porcelain and stone, this professional dry core delivers fast, chip-reduced holes without a water feed. The gold-brazed diamond crown maintains aggressive cutting while the M14 shank mounts directly to most angle grinders.

Key benefits

  • No water feed needed – work cleanly on finished areas.
  • Pro-grade cutting – gold-brazed diamond crown bites into porcelain, marble, granite & travertine.
  • M14 direct fit – suits most angle grinders, 6,000–11,000 RPM.
  • Extended bit life – quick dip/cool routine between holes preserves diamonds.
  • Perfect 6 mm fixings – hole size suits Plasplugs® Red Supergrips or similar.

Recommended use

  1. Mark the hole. Start at ~45° to score the surface, then bring upright.
  2. Run the grinder between 6,000–11,000 RPM. Do not use hammer/percussion.
  3. Apply light, steady pressure. Let the diamonds cut.
  4. Every 30 seconds, dip the tip in water and/or allow ~30 seconds cooldown after each hole.

Safety

  • Wear eye, hearing and dust protection; use extraction where possible.
  • Secure the workpiece and check for services behind the tile.
