Description
The Thermal Backer Board 1200x600x6mm is designed for use on internal floors and walls, providing effective insulation and waterproofing. With its 6mm thickness and dimensions of 1200mm by 600mm, it supports tile installations with a maximum loading weight of 64 kg/m². The board features a rigid XPS foam core with a density of 32 ± 0.02 kg/m³, ensuring high compressive (320 kPa) and flexural strength (2.46 MPa).
Its thermal conductivity of 0.033 W/(m·K) helps maintain temperature efficiency, while the very low water absorption (less than 1% by 2-day immersion, zero capillary absorption) offers excellent durability against moisture. Additional properties include a nail pull resistance of 270 N, ultimate flatwise tensile strength of 0.463 MPa, and flammability rating of EN13501 Class E. The board also meets antimicrobial standards (ASTM G21-15 0 Grade) for enhanced hygiene.
